FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating 99 m Tc technefit colloid depot in pleural cavity of pleurisy or pyothorax patient. Blood is taken from patient cubital vein 30 min later and blood pulsations are recorded using scintillation gamma camera or scanner unit. Quantitative evaluation is carried out using a mathematical formula. EFFECT: high accuracy measurements.
