FIELD: cyclic torsion and bending tests of materials. SUBSTANCE: gear testing materials has bedframe that carries uniaxial immobile and mobile grippers and drive coupled to the latter. Mobile gripper includes clipping member and loading member, is fitted with pair of levers mounted in symmetry relative to axis of grippers and is attached with one ends to opposite sides of loading member, perpendicular to its axis, is provided with two cross-pieces placed on different sides of levers in parallel to them, is equipped with four blocks anchored on ends of cross-pieces and three flexible links, one of them being passed over all blocks and provided with mechanism tightening this flexible link and two other links being anchored with one ends on other ends of proper levers. Gear is also equipped with additional active and stationary blocks fixing specimens tested for bending and tension- compression which are mounted uniaxial to grippers. Active fixing block is made fast to clipping and loading members with provision for anchoring specimens perpendicular to rotation axis. Stationary fixing lock is made fast to bedframe with provision for asymmetrical loading of specimens tested for cyclic bending and tension-compression. Stationary fixing block has body, faceplate mounted for rotation and fixing relative to body, fixing members mounted for rotation and fixing on pins pressed into faceplate and attachment members ensuring various combinations of specified load on specimens. EFFECT: expanded range of tested materials, complex tests of specimens under asymmetrical loading cycle under mode of self- oscillations on frequency close to own frequency. 3 dwg
