FIELD: acceleration engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes ion acceleration in charged-particle generator that has closed loop with central orbit in the form of polygon with dipole and packing device installed in each of its sides; dipoles and packing devices have longitudinal magnetic fields. Ion movement control is effected within enclosed space in longitudinal magnetic field at polygon sides, ion orbits being pre-selected proceeding from condition A1Z2 = A2Z1, where A1A2 are mass numbers; Z1Z2 are charge multiples; upon injection in polygon corners ions are accelerated and packed by means of packing devices with longitudinal magnetic field and by magnetic attraction forces in the course of their acceleration; then orbit sections are aligned by adjusting value of magnetic-system current supplies basing on infinite amplification effect until desired energy level is attained by ions. EFFECT: provision for acceleration in multiple-input structure with as many injection inputs as there are sides of polygon orbit. 1 cl, 3 dwg
