PROCESS OF ISOLATION OF WATER-SATURATED POOLS IN OPERATIONAL WELLS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be employed for isolation of stratal water, for water isolation operations in operational wells of various assignment. In correspondence with process there are conducted lowering and pressure grouting of casing string, secondary opening of water-saturated pool and simultaneous opening of oil-saturated pool, temporary mud grouting of oil-saturated pool, isolation of water-saturated pool and opening of oil-saturated pool by removal of mud grouting. In this case secondary opening of pools is conducted by cutting of casing string. After temporary mud grouting of oil-saturated pool water-saturated pool is drained with subsequent isolation of it by pressure grouting of face zone and treatment of zone close to shaft by hydraulic giant with leaving over cement bridge between water-and oil-saturated pools.
