FIELD: manufacture of multi-layer materials; fire-fighting technique; manufacture of roll-type flexible heat-insulating materials ensuring reflection of infra-red radiation; fire-fighting equipment; thermal protection and heat insulation. SUBSTANCE: proposed flexible heat-insulating material has warp in form of woven or non-woven material; according to first version, heat-resistant polymer layer at softening temperature not below 110 C and melting point not below 140 C may be secured on warp by means of adhesive; metal layer may be made in form of nontransparent metallized coat of polymer layer applied on it on opposite side of warp; base is made in form of woven or non-woven material; according to second version, reinforcing gauze is introduced; this gauze is located on inner surface of metal layer which is mainly made from aluminum in form of aluminum foil, 0.3 to 100 mcm in thickness or metal sheet, 100 to 500 mcm in thickness with decorative pattern on front surface; its rear surface is secured on warp; warp is made in form of layer of woven or non-woven material.
