FIELD: electrical engineering; rotary electrical machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrical machine has wound stator 1 and stator slots 5 accommodating stator windings. Novelty is that windings are made of high-voltage cable 6 and that at least one of slots 5 of stator 1 on at least one butt-end surface of stator 1 is provided with cup-type facility 13, 16 placed between cable 6 and slot 5. Cup-type facility 13, 16 is disposed in axial direction at short distance inside slot. Invention discloses manufacturing process for such machines in which cup-type facilities are placed in at least one of slots on at least one butt-end surface of stator and cable is drawn through this facility. Such procedure eliminates or reduces risk of damaging outer surface of cable during its drawing through stator slots and vibration wear of its surfaces during machine operation at high voltages.
