FIELD: electrical engineering; cable junction devices most useful for bent cables. SUBSTANCE: cable junction has two cables and cable coupler in- between. Device has support which is to be placed on junction so that parts forming the joint are essentially held motionless relative to one another and incorporates at least one fastening member intended for elastic connection of cable to support. Mentioned fastening member is capable of taking variations in cable size due to thermal expansion or contraction. Rotating electrical machine has stator with winding placed in stator slots and rotor, as well as mentioned device for cable junctions. Device is primarily used for connecting two bent cables and for keeping them relatively motionless at joint so that any variations in cable size mainly due to thermal expansion and compression were absorbed without any damage to cable junction.
