FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cyclone-type dust collector has cyclone housing adapted for connection to extensible tube of vacuum cleaner and for creating swirling flow from air and garbage flow delivered therein, and cyclone case detachably joined to cyclone housing and provided with spiral partition wall dividing its interior into upper cavity for separating air from garbage by directing swirling air flow and lower cavity for receiving garbage separated from air. Regardless of arrangement of dust collector, it prevents grid from being contaminated with garbage particles, does not hinder operation of vacuum cleaner and prevents falling of garbage from cyclone grid or prevents grid from damage during removal of garbage. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in filtering and collection of relatively large garbage particles. 19 cl, 7 dwg
