GRID UNIT FOR CYCLONE-TYPE DUST-CATCHER OF VACUUM CLEANER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: grid is designed for cyclone-type dust catcher adapted for separating garbage by centrifugal force of air from rotating flow including garbage. Grid unit is formed in air discharge channel inside cyclone-type dust catcher casing and adapted for preventing garbage from penetration into vacuum cleaner casing. Grid unit has grid casing with open upper end, plurality of blades arranged on outer surface of grid casing in spaced relation one with respect to another to define passages of predetermined size communicating with air discharge channel, and small-sized contaminants retaining unit mounted inside grid casing and communicating with passage in grid casing for filtering of small-sized contaminants passing through passage. Grid casing has first part located in cyclone casing and equipped with through opening connected to air discharge channel, and second part detachably connected with through opening of first part via connecting means and equipped with plurality of blades arranged on its outer surface.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by easy removal of garbage from grid owing to detachment of second part of casing with blades from its first part.
