FIELD: methods of production of sorption active materials; cleaning gaseous media from toxic admixtures; environment control. SUBSTANCE: method includes impregnation of carbon base grains by solution of catalytic additives and triethylenediamine followed by aging and heat treatment; activated carbon at size of micropores of 0.30-0.35 cu.cm/g is used as base; copper, chromium and silver compounds at mas.% ratio of (6.0-7.5) : (2.0-2.5) : (0.04-0.06) are used as catalytic additives; heat treatment is effected at rate of 1 to 3 C/min to 80-110 C.
