FIELD: aeronautical engineering; methods of determination of slip angles of flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for furnishing magnitude of slip angle to crew indicator and to critical mode warning system; ground post-flight processing of data of on-board measurements for analysis of various flying modes. Local slip angle is measured with the aid of feathering slip angle sensor. Then, slip angle of flying vehicle is found by measured local slip angle and preset functional dependence of slip angle on measured local slip angle. Besides that, angle of attack is additionally measured. Slip angle is corrected depending on measured angle of attack. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of slip angle of flying vehicle. 1 dwg
