FIELD: reducing-melting units. SUBSTANCE: waste gas escaping from melting apparatus - gas generator or fluidized-bed reactor is subjected to separation into dust and reducing gas for successive delivery of them to each fluidized-bed reactor. Reducing-melting unit includes three-stage fluidized-bed reactor, melting apparatus - gas generator used for producing molten iron by means of final reduction of ground iron ore delivered from last fluidized-bed reactor upon completion of reaction in this reactor and dust-entrapping unit which separates waste gas escaping from melting apparatus - gas generator into dust and reducing gas, after which separated reducing gas is fed to lower portion of final fluidized-bed reactor and dust containing large particles in mass of separated dust is again fed to melting apparatus - gas generator and finely-dispersed dust containing lesser particles is fed to upper portion of gas distributor of final fluidized-bed reactor. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of reduction of ground iron ore in wide range of granulometric composition in fluidized bed maintained at steady state. 17 cl, 1 dwg
