FIELD: construction, petrochemical, food and other industries. SUBSTANCE: helical rotor pump has rotor in form of single-start screw whose round cross-section is displaced relative to screw axis by value of eccentricity, station provided with double-start surface whose cross-section is formed by two semicircles connected by lines, and drive shaft connected with rotor. Axis of rotor is displaced at any moment relative to drive shaft axis by value of eccentricity. Two coupling members with tenon, arranged eccentrically in each coupling member and made in parallel with longitudinal axis, are secured on end faces of rotor and drive shaft. Tenons are connected by tie-rod. Coupling of rotor drive of helical rotor pump has coupling members with tenons secured on end faces of rotor and drive shafts. Axis of rotor is displaced at moment relative to axis of drive shaft by value of eccentricity. Flexible tie-rod is placed between tenons. Ends of tie rod are rigidly secured on tenons. Use of coupling in helical rotor pump makes it possible to transmit torque from drive shaft to rotor through units in which friction losses are reduced owing to reduction of contact stresses in points of mating of units and dispensing with units with reciprocating displacements along flat surfaces.
