FIELD: mechanical engineering; construction, petrochemical, food and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in single-screw pump units intended for handling different mixes. Proposed single-screw pump rotor in form of single-start screw whose round cross-section is displaced relative to axis of screw through values of eccentricity, stator provided with two-start screw surface whose cross-section if formed by two semicircles connected by lines, drive shaft connected with rotor. Hoses are installed between rotor and inner surface of stator. Ends of hoses are secured before inlet of stator and at outlet of stator. Length of larger axis of cross-section of stator channel is equal to Dp+4ε+4δ where Dp is diameter of cross-section of rotor; ε is eccentricity of rotor; δ is thickness of hose wall. Use of hoses in single-screw pump makes it possible to increase reliability of pump owing to prevention of contact of handled medium and mechanical part of pump.
EFFECT: improved reliability of pump.
