SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of assay of functional activity of complement components in human serum in diagnosis of some diseases and in biological preparations. Method involves assay of functional activity of component C2 in human complement system based on immunoenzymatic method that includes capacity of functionally active component C2 to form C3-convertase amount of that is determined by amount of bound activated C3.
