FIELD: processes for restoring worn parts of aluminum and its alloys, for example for restoring tightening units and bearing assemblies of gear pumps. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of surfacing in shield gas atmosphere, working, strengthening part by microarc oxidizing and then subjecting part to heat treatment at temperature 540-550 C. Such method allows to lower drop of microhardness of coating and degree of coating wear according to increased spacing from metal boundary and therefore to increase by 18-20% uniformness of wear resistance along thickness of hardened coating of part. EFFECT: uniform wear resistance along thickness of part coating. 1 tbl
