FIELD: restoration of worn parts of aluminum alloys, for example restoring and strengthening surfaces (for impellers of water pump) of lids of distributing gear wheels of engines.
SUBSTANCE: method for restoring worn parts of aluminum alloys in order to prevent superheating comprises steps of building-up restored surface by soldering at temperature 500 - 520 C while using solder B65 and flux 34w; after mechanical working subjecting part to shot blasting at rate of shot flow 50 - 60 m/s.
EFFECT: enhanced physical and mechanical properties, improved corrosion resistance of coating.
