FIELD: helmets for military aircraft pilots. SUBSTANCE: proposed helmet has shaded observation port kept in raised position (for operation at night) by means of ball pusher and lowered manually or automatically. Besides that, helmet is provided with optical unit which makes it possible to superimpose images formed by night-vision device on images outside flying vehicle.
