SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes at least one sensor 22 for locating source of fire, device 21 for determination of aircraft position at preset moment, geographic data base 23 and aircraft trajectory computer 24. Aircraft trajectory is calculated as function of data on its position and position of source of fire noted in data base 23. Geographic data base contains data on latitude, longitude and altitude; specific features of ground relief are also noted in this base. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of locating source of fire; optimization of aircraft route and trajectory of dropping water; enhanced safety of reciprocal track of aircraft. 11 cl, 3 dwg
