SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of hydroxamic acid of the formula (I) where R₁ means substitute of the formula (II) A-(O-(CR₅H)_n)_m-O-CH₂- (II); n = 1-4; m = 0-3; R₅ means hydrogen atom, alkyl or alkenyl; A means hydrogen atom, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl; R₂ means alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, arylalkyl; R₃ means alkyl, aryl or indolylmethyl; R₄ means methyl, pyridyl or X-Y- where X means morpholino-group, pyridyl or aryl and Y means alkylene where up to four methylene -(CH₂)- links are optionally substituted with -CO-, - NH-, -SO₂- or O. These compounds show inhibitory activity with respect to release of tumor necrosis -α-factor and owing to this property that can be used as pharmaceutical agent.
