FIELD: construction industry, erection of earthquake resisting buildings. SUBSTANCE: task of invention lies in limiting possible horizontal displacement of building during earthquake with wide spectrum of frequencies with preservation of capability of mobile cruciform supports to diminish seismic forces effectively and in raised corrosion resistance of cruciform mobile supports. Proposed approach is solved in multistory earthquakeproof building that includes upper spatially rigid stories formed by columns, cross-bars, ceilings, floor, wall panels, first or flexible story comprising cruciform supports formed by pair of panels having cut in one of rounded faces and interjoined by entry of one groove into another. In members of lower binding which are foundation blocks there are made grooves and holes with sand or rubber or other elastically-pliable pads. Cruciform supports capable of recovery of upright position, mounted for rolling during earthquake along grooves in members of upper ( in level of ceiling of socle story ) and lower bindings have talons in corners of rounded faces which are positioned with certain clearance with reference to sand or rubber or other elastically-pliable pads. They can lie during earthquake on to these pads to form soft engaging bindings. EFFECT: effective reduction of seismic forces. 1 cl, 17 dwg
