METHOD FOR MITRAL AND AORTAL PROSTHETICS OF CARDIAC VALVES AT DESTRUCTION OF MITRAL-AORTAL JUNCTURE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery. SUBSTANCE: destroyed valves are resected together with the part of fibrous ring of a mitral valve. Prosthesis is sutured to the rest part of a mitral valve's fibrous ring. Needles and ligatures should be not cut. Destroyed valves and a fibrous ring of aortal valve should be resected. The braiding of mitral valve's prosthesis is sutured to that of an aortal valve's one by directing the sutures extraaortally to be fixed on interlayers. Aorta should be sutured. Circulation should be renewed. The method demonstrates the purposefulness in applying a sparing type of complex reconstructive interference for aortal root in case of removing the abscess of an aortal valve.
