FIELD: equipment applicable in alumina production for separation of chamotte and unloading of alumina into a fluidized bed refrigerator. SUBSTANCE: air conduit pipe is built in the chamotte separator body in alignment with the discharge opening, ventilation air is fed through this pipe at a speed sufficient for achievement of the gate due to the kinetic energy of the air stream, which provides for a uniform feeding of alumina into the fluidized bed refrigerator. At the same time cooling occurs in suspension, the temperature drops in the chamotte separator, consumption of compressed air is reduced, due to elimination of local warm-ups. EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced durability, reduced consumption of compressed air. 2 dwg
