FIELD: medicine, pulmonological diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: the method could be used at diagnostic centers and hospitals equipped with a 0.5 T MR-tomograph for diagnostics of pulmonary diseases, it could be, also, used for the screening to detect pathological neoplasms in lungs. Diagnostics should be carried out due to magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) by using superconducting magnets 0.5 T. Regulating scanning is performed to choose the projection of testing. STAGE-sequence is modified to launch it during patient's breathing delay at a deep inhalation stage. If necessary, additional layers are fulfilled in optimal planes to analyze the data obtained and make a conclusion. Testing time correspond to 5-10 min, not longer. The method enables to exclude radiation loading, it is of high information value, noninvasive and available. EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics. 2 ex
