ELECTROSTATIC LIQUID SPRAYER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: liquid spraying in plants of chemical, medical and fuel industry branches. SUBSTANCE: sprayer allows to provide uniform finely dispersed spraying of liquid in dispersion liquid medium due to breaking liquid in stationary sharply non-uniform volume distribution electrostatic field. Sprayer includes electric voltage source, system of directed mutually opposite blade-type electrodes, namely system in the form of two groups of mutually parallel blade-type electrodes; apparatus for feeding liquid into interelectrode gap. Electrodes of one group are arranged normally relative to electrodes of another group. It allows to create non-uniform electrostatic field. Sprayed liquid is fed to interelectrode gap being preliminarily broken to drops. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sprayer. 5 cl, 4 dwg
