FIELD: hardware production, namely barbed wire, possibly used for mechanical and electric signaling barriers. SUBSTANCE: barbed wire includes base made of weather-resistant steel and spines arranged uniformly on wire and mutually turned around axis of wire base. Spines are made monolithically with base and they are arranged symmetrically at two side of base. Each pair of spines is turned relative to previous pair around axis of base by the same angle not exceeding 90 degrees. Each spine may be in the form of pyramid, arrow or lance. EFFECT: enhanced strength and corrosion resistance of barbed wire. 3 dwg
