FIELD: electric transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises two energy accumulators, first of which is connected through first low-power resistor to first output of supply source whose voltage level corresponds to voltage level in contact rail of underground railway. Second energy accumulator is connected through second low-power resistor to second output of supply source whose voltage level is two-fold lower than voltage level in contact rail of underground railway. Voltage meters are connected in parallel with energy accumulators. Each energy accumulator is connected to input of car power circuit through corresponding power diode and contact of power contactor and through common current sensor. Third power diode is connected in conducting direction between cathodes of first and second indicated power diodes. Cathode of third power diode is connected with negative poles of energy accumulators through contact of third power contactor and power resistor. Series-connected contact of fourth power contactor and second power resistor are connected between points of connection of armature windings of first group of traction motors to circuit in car power circuit. Contact of fifth power contactor and third power resistor are connected between points of connection of armature windings of second group of traction motors to circuits. In process of checking, armature windings of traction electric motors are disconnected from power circuit. Negative pole of armature winding of second group traction motor, last in connection to power circuit, is connected through contact of sixth power with common supply bus of car power circuit. Second and third current sensors are placed in field winding circuits of traction motors of first and second groups. Outputs of all current sensors are connected with recording unit.
