FIELD: transport engineering; underground railway.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric systems for electrodynamic braking of underground railway car traction motors. Proposed device contains two parallel groups of electric motors. Electric motors are connected by positive poles through groups of parallel-connected thyristors to braking resistor steps. Capacitor-type energy accumulators are connected by positive poles to cathodes of corresponding charging thyristors. Anodes of charging thyristors of capacitor-type energy accumulators of first group are connected to end of braking resistor. Anode of charging thyristors of capacitor-type energy accumulators of second group are connected to beginning of braking resistor. Additional thyristor is connected by anode to end of resistor, and by cathode, to busbar. Busbar connects negative poles of capacitor-type energy accumulators with negative poles of parallel groups of traction motors.
EFFECT: provision of accumulation of electric energy.
