FIELD: production of synthetic resins used as film forming agents in production of paints and varnishes. SUBSTANCE: cyclohexane resin is produced from wastes of caprolactam process at temperature of 95 to 110 C in presence of 45-% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide at additional action on resin by 30-% aqueous solution calcium chloride at temperature of 90 to 95 C, after which resin is separated from polycondensate.
