FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fittings and valves operating at high pressure and temperatures of coolants in heat and nuclear power stations and other device operating at high parameters of working media. Proposed sealing device of fixed joints comprises spacer in form of solid of revolution placed between fixed joint members. Spacer is made of metal tape wound in form of spiral with liable to compression element fixing axial displacement of spiral coils. Graphite filler is placed at least between middle coils of spiral. Spacer is located in space between end face surfaces of fixed joint members. One inner and one outer coils of tape have larger rigidity than other tape coils and width corresponding to thickness of spacer in its operating condition and smaller than width of tape of middle coils of spiral. EFFECT: improved reliability of operation of fixed joint spacers. 5 cl, 5 dwg
