FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to vacuum treatment and drying of materials and may be used in bird-processing and pig-breeding plants and in food, medical and other industries. Method includes loading of source material into vacuum process chamber on heat exchangers with internal tubular channels, pumping down until pressure is under atmospheric pressure, coolant supply into heat exchangers with internal tubular channels, condensate removal and reloading of finished dehydrated product. Internal tubular channels of process heat exchangers are pumped out until pressure is sufficient for coolant condensing at temperature, which exceeds saturated steam temperature into vacuum process chamber during the stages of mixing and source material supply into vacuum chamber. Unit is provided with receiver having leak tight cavity linked with internal tubular channels of process heat exchangers and vacuum pump.
EFFECT: reduction of losses and saving of thermal energy.
