SUBSTANCE: method is realized in mold having two vertical walls mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion and two other walls having inclined upper portions and mounted with possibility of rotation. In cavity of mold central core is arranged with possibility of rotation relative to walls with inclined upper portions. Skin of billet is formed only on surfaces of two wall with inclined upper portions. Mold for making continuous deformed hollow billets is mounted on platform with two windows for casting metal. There are two lugs in lower portion of platform. Central core has cylindrical opening in upper portion for passing pin designed for fastening core in lugs with possibility of core motion relative to walls with inclined upper portions. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process, improved quality of billets, reliable operation of plant with increased useful life period and easy maintenance. 2 cl, 3 dwg
