SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding to mold metal in double-phase state containing solid phase in quantity 40-50% uniformly by jets along perimeter of mold between central cores and working walls of mold. Plant for making continuous deformed hollow blanks includes cylindrical casting vessel in the form of heat pipe inside which piston with drive unit is arranged. In bottom of casting vessel openings with diameter d= 5 - 7mm are arranged uniformly. In lower part of casting vessel there is rotary grid with openings. Distances L1, L2 between openings in bottom of casting vessel passing respectively along inclined in upper part working walls and along vertical working walls of water cooled mold, width b of platform window and distance A between windows of platform satisfy to relations: L1/b = 0.7 - 0.9 and L2/A = 1.15 -1.25. Plant is also provided with automatic system for controlling motion speed of blank and motion speed of piston in casting vessel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process, improved quality of hollow deformed blanks, enhanced operational reliability of plant, enlarged assortment of blanks according to their cross sections, to kinds of cast alloys and range of controlled physico-mechanical properties of blanks. 2 cl, 3 dwg
