SUBSTANCE: plant includes in addition framework with two movable struts jointly mounted on axle and mutually joined by means of tie rod provided with adjusted spring. One working wall of first wall pair of mold is mounted on each movable strut. Two eccentric mutually parallel horizontal shafts are mounted in housings outside movable struts in such a way that their eccentric surfaces engage with outer surface of movable struts. Two movable struts are T-shaped ones. Each strut supports two working walls of first wall pair of mold. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process, enhanced reliability of plant, lowered time periods for repairing plant, enlarged assortment of cast billets. 2 cl, 2 dwg
