FIELD: railway transport; locomotives. SUBSTANCE: proposed locomotive brake system comprises pipeline 1 of master air cylinder supplied by air compressor plant 2 and air main line 4 supplied by air compressor plant 2 through brake valve 3 of train. Two compressed air lines are laid to each bogie 17. first compressed air line 24 coupled through shutoff valve 7, check valve 5 and air collector 6 with pipeline 1 of main air collector provides supply of brake valves 8, 10 of locomotive to set into action brakes 9, 11 of bogie. Second compressed air line 25 is directly coupled with pipeline 1 of main air collector and it provides supply of brake control device 12 with spring energy accumulator and/or device 13 to control wiper 15, and/or device 14 to control wheel flange lubricator 16. Control is carried out through central electronic brake control unit 20 and brake data transmission bus 21. Signals from setters 22, 27 serviced by driver and signals from device 23 considering current parameters, such as length and mass of train, driving speed and braking duties, are supplied to input of brake control unit 20.
