FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in processing of copper scrap. Proposed complex comprises crucible melting installation (1), casting ladle (2) with transfer mechanism (3), vertical continuous casting installation (4) and receiving device (5). In crucible melting installation (1) melting and fire refining of charge on base of copper scrap containing not less than 99.2 wt% of copper is performed, obtaining of refined melt containing not less than 99.91 wt% of copper. Melt is poured into casting ladle (2), transported to installation of continuous vertical casting (4), are poured into installation (4) smelting furnace, continuous casting in form of bar is pulled out from melt coated with layer of graphite from melt coated with graphite layer. Obtained workpiece is wound on receiving device (5).
EFFECT: possibility of using up to 100 % copper scrap containing not less than 99,2 wt% of copper, for obtaining a copper product for electrical purposes and reducing power consumption for production.
