FIELD: procedure of drying of dielectric materials with the aid of microwave energy, applicable in woodworking industry and in manufacture of furniture in microwave conveyer driers of lumbers. SUBSTANCE: the drier has two successively installed tapered waveguides, whose longitudinal axes are positioned at acute angle "α" to each other. The waveguide openings on the side of the maximum cross-sections are interconnected by a waveguide bend. The end of one of the waveguides on the side opposite its opening is connected to the output of the microwave oscillator, the other waveguide in the area of connection to it of the wave- guide bend and on the side of the maximum bend of the latter has an input for the guide and an output for it on the side of its opposite end. A heat-fan installation is positioned in the area of the mentioned end. The wide walls of both waveguides on the side of connection of the waveguide bend are equidimensional and equal "a1", the wide and narrow walls of their other ends respectively equal wide wall "a" and narrow wall "b" of the standard rectangular waveguide, the guide has a mechanism of cyclic movement of dried materials. The vertex of the mentioned acute angle faces the inlet of the transport lane to the waveguide bend, a1≅2a, b1≅2b..
