FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed power plant includes mechanism with freely oscillating members made in from of cylinders of free-piston internal combustion engines, each piston being rigidly coupled with piston arranged in two-sided symmetrical hydraulic cylinder, and mechanism with rotating member made in form of stator with fluid medium inlet and outlet channels divided by gates of distributing devices, and rotors with at least two cavities. Rotor cavities and stator form working spaces of mechanism with rotating member. Said working spaces are arranged with possibility of connecting with stator channels. Volume of each working space is equal to volume of symmetrical hydraulic cylinder operating in cooperation. Distance between gates of distributing devices and neighbour cavities of rotor is equal to length of chord measured along middle line of cavity. Each cavity is made in form of sector of round ring. Profiles of inlet and outlet of cavity are similar. Gates are mounted for locking in idle position. Rockers are mounted on stator by means of shafts for contacting with two adjacent gates.
