Proposed electrostatic liquid filter contains housing made of gasoline-resistant non-conducting material, inner chamber, inlet and outlet channels, mechanical filtering element with carbon conducting envelope, negative and positive electrodes connected to high-voltage power supply source and settling space separated from filtering element by perforated diaphragm with carbon gasket. Pulse generator can be used as high voltage source. Invention provides maximum reduction of content of admixtures in fuel, reduced power consumption improved fuel-air mixing, reduced toxicity of exhaust gases and increased efficiency.
