FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device applies structural illumination principle used in three-dimensional computer animation and other applications for recording surface shape. The device has optical radiation source and transparency and additional objective mounted in series to create structured illumination of an object as a system of strips by means of the objective, main objective, photorecorder transforming image projected by the objective into digital image, digital electronic unit for recalculating digital images recorded by the photorecorder and surface relief height values on the basis of strip distortion data. The device additionally has the second objective having large depth of contrast in transmitting image, the second electronic digital unit used as comparator in memory of which digital image of linear structure periodical relative to one coordinate is stored. The transparency is designed as slide having linear structure periodic along two coordinates, that is, grid. EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of control. 5 dwg
