FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology. The method for non-contact measurement of the linear dimensions of rotating three-dimensional objects consists in repeated formation of a probing structured illumination on the surface of the controlled object by illuminating the surface of the controlled object with an optical radiation beam, each time with control of the spatial modulation of the optical radiation beam intensity, sequential recording of images of the probing illumination structure distorted by the relief of the surface of the controlled object and determining the height of the surface relief of the controlled object by the degree of distortion of the image of the probing illumination structure, and the other two coordinates - by the position of distortions of the illumination structure in the registered images. In this case, a synchronization signal of the photorecorder and a rotating object is used, which ensures the registration of images of the measured rotating object located in the same position in space (measurements are performed in the same angle of rotation of the object).

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the linear dimensions of rotating three-dimensional objects is achieved.
