METHOD FOR PREDICTING ENDOGENIC INTOXICATION FLOW AT PERITONITIS IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: the method is carried out by measuring plasma impedance at 20 Hz frequency, erythrocytic impedance - at 4 kHz frequency, urine impedance - at 400 Hz frequency and comparing the results obtained against control ones. At the decrease of obtained difference one should predict favorable disease flow, at either constant difference or its increase unfavorable disease flow is concluded on. Measurement of impedance should be carried out every 6-12 h. The method enables to increase accuracy in predicting endogenic intoxication flow along with shortened terms of testing.
