FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: due to radioimmunological method one should detect level of beta-endorphin basal concentration in blood plasma during the first 10 d of disease: at increased level of betaendorphin basal concentration in blood plasma being by 4-5 times higher against normal values one should predict complete restoration of auditory function in patients with impaired hearing I-II degree and improvement of auditory function in patients with impaired hearing III-IV degree.
