FIELD: highway engineering; production of bitumen emulsions used for preparation of asphalt-concrete mixtures. SUBSTANCE: cation-active bitumen emulsion contains bitumen, emulsifying additive, calcium chloride, acid and water. Used as emulsifying additive is cation-active emulsifier which is just mixture of polyethylene polyamine NH₂C₂H₄(NHC₂H₄)_nNH₂, where n = 1 to 5 and its salts of fatty acids and/or resin acids or mixture of polyethylene polyamines and their salts of fatty and/or resin acids. Emulsion contains, mass-%: bitumen, 30 to 70; cation-active emulsifier, 0.3 and calcium chloride, 1 to 2. Emulsifying additive for preparation of cation-active bitumen emulsion contains mixture of polyethylene polyamine and its salts of fatty and/or resin acids or mixture of polyethylene polyamine and their salts of fatty and/or resin acids at weight ratio of from 40:70 to 40:60.
