FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alcoholic industry, namely, to method of treatment of ethyl alcohol from impurities. Method involves passing ethyl alcohol through porous sorbent taken among an order: silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, synthetic zeolite and natural zeolite activated by air flow at 350-460 C followed by cooling in inert gas atmosphere. Inert gas is passed through synthesized alcohol, diluted with water and subjected for rectification in order to remove impurity of isopropyl alcohol. As a rule, sorbent is subjected for regeneration in inert gas flow at increased temperature using nitrogen argon, helium, carbon dioxide or their any mixture as inert gas. Method allows to obtain commercial product of high quality. EFFECT: improved method of treatment. 3 cl
