FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for assured uniform and qualitative breaking of ore mass in contact zone of ore-dike, for diminished specific consumption of explosive for secondary blasting. This intention is realized by hole drilling in accordance with project of mass explosion of commercial block, by mine survey of block, by study of geological characteristics of ore and dike, by establishment of category of explosibility of ores and rocks of dike, by selection of specific consumption of explosive for varieties of ore. Holes between worked-out space and dike are arranged at distance from dike inversely proportional to modulus of jointing in zone close to contact zone. Holes drilled behind dike are arranged at distance from dike inversely proportional to modulus of jointing in zone close to contact zone and thickness of dike. Modulus of jointing is computed in this case proceeding from number of cracks in contact zone subparallel to dike and thickness of contact zone. Blasting is executed in two stages: first holes located in front of dike with respect to worked-out space and then holes located after dike.
