FIELD: mining industry; applicable in underground and opencast mining of ore blocks of complicated structures. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of boreholes in compliance with design of large-scale blast, execution of mine survey of ore block, study of geological characteristic of rocks of post-rock dikes and ores, selection of specific consumption of explosives with division of block into districts of different categories of explosiveness, calculation of value of borehole explosive charge and parameters of drilling and blasting operations, charging of boreholes in compliance with selected parameters and blasting. Value of borehole explosive charges on districts of intensive manifestation of dike magmatism is reduced as compared with value of explosive charges on main ore mass by amount directly proportional to fraction of post-ore dikes in rock mass. EFFECT: higher breaking efficiency, reduced consumption of explosives and high-quality preparation of ore raw materials. 2 dwg
