FIELD: mining industry, underground development of thick ore deposits with mass collapse of rock mass in excavated blocks. SUBSTANCE: task of invention lies in reduced seismic effect of shock wave to ensure safety of workings, holes, mine communications and equipment in adjacent blocks, in prevention of transmission of additional stresses on rock mass. In process of opening and preparation of ore deposit ore body along the strike is divided into excavation units ( blocks ). Complex of preparatory-cutting workings is prepared on lower horizon in each block, complex of drilling rooms is prepared at upper horizon. Compensation chamber is formed with displacement from contact with adjacent blocks and vertical protective-shielding crack is created on boundary with adjacent blocks by drilling-out of ore body from drilling rooms by downward and upward holes in vertical direction, by charging said holes with explosives and by blasting hole charges. Crack is originated with formation of vertical contact from compacted medium to entire height of block. Hole charges of mentioned crack are blasted with short-delay firing with reference to holes charges located between compensation chamber and adjacent blocks. Formed compacted rock mass in protective-shielding crack works as dampening layer protecting adjacent block and correspondingly drilling and preparatory-cutting workings, communications and equipment located in it from effect of shock seismic waves.
