FIELD: foundry, possibly manufacture of ceramic molds at casting with use of investment patterns. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing suspension at mixing liquid glass with aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and with pulverized refractory material; applying prepared suspension onto investment patterns layer by layer, sprinkling each layer with quartz sand and solidifying it in solution of ammonium chloride; adding to suspension for first layer 0.05-0.1 mas.% of oil for hydromechanical and fluid power transmissions (such oil due to its low viscosity may be sufficiently well dispersed in suspension); melting out patterns in hot water and then calcining envelopes. Distinct reproduction of microrelief of pattern surface is provided due to adding in suspension oil for hydromechanical and hydraulic-displacement transmissions.
