METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MOUNTING TENSION GUYS OF TOWER CRANE LOAD-LIFTING BOOM Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; tower cranes. SUBSTANCE: method relates to tower cranes with load lifting boom 7 and counterboom 8 furnished with at least one holding guy 13, 16, 17 designed for connection with 14 of mast head 6. According to Said method, and first stage of mounting, counterboom 8 is connected to base of mast head 6, free end of guy 13 of counterboom 8 is connected to one of ends of mounting crossmember 25 temporarily secured on mast head 6, then said mounting crossmember 25 is raised to level guy 13 of counterboom 8 by means of mounting cable, upper end of mounting crossmember 25 of guy 13 of counterboom 8 is connected to fork in waiting position of top 14 of mast head 6. At second stage, load-lifting boom 7 is connected to base of mast head 6, free end of one or several guys 16, 17 of load-lifting boom 7 is connected with mounting crossmember temporarily secured on mast head 6, then mounting crossmember is lifted to level one or several guys 16, 17 of load-lifting boom 7 by means of mounting cable and one or several guys 16, 17 of load-lifting boom are connected to connecting part in waiting position on top 14 of mast head 6. Device relates to tower cranes furnished with load-lifting boom 7 and counterboom 8, both furnished with at least one holding guy 13, 16, 17 designed for connection with top 14 of mast head 6. Said device contains mounting crossmembers, system of pulley blocks and mounting winch. System of pulley blocks is formed by two movable parts used in turn. First movable part located from side of counterboom 8 s used for mounting guy 13 of counterboom 8, and then mounting part from side of load-lifting boom 7 is used for mounting one or several guy 16, 17 of boom 7.
